Breaking news on the KyoryuGold story! The latest issue of “Hyper Hobby Magazine” has shed some light on what we will be seeing from Kyoryuger in April with the titles for episodes nine, ten and eleven. The episodes (titled “braves” in Kyoryuger because Toei likes to do that sort of thing instead of using the word “episode”) will go by the titles “So strong! Pteraidenoh!”, “Thunder! Gold’s Resurrection!” and “Ucchi! Allow me to be cool!”. This indicates that KyoryuGold will be making his debut next month, and will have something to do with lightning. Which, of course, explains his very unique costume design, which I personally

believe harkins back to GaoSilver’s costume design. Alongside this, we have some information on his arsenal and

his mech.

KyoryuGold has in his arsenal the normal Gabricaliber and Gabrirevolver, but he doesn’t use either to henshin. Instead, his henshin device is the GabriChanger, which hints at

maybe him having a wrist mounted device or something similar. Kind of an interesting change of pace to have a Sentai who all use guns to henshin except for the sixth hero, who uses a wrist device, a flip of Go-Onger and Go-Busters essentially. Alongside this, his unique weapon is called the “Zander Thunder”. This guy is really big into the lightning.

His mech, Pteragodon, is numbered six, of course, and will utilize a special transformation (titled “the Thunder Transformation”) to transform into Pteraiden-Oh. From there, it can swap out it’s arms to transform into Pteraiden-Oh Western and combine with Kyoryuzin to form RaidenKyoryuzin.

KyoryuGold himself is still somewhat of an enigma, but at least we know he is almost here. But who can this strange man be? Torin? MagiRed? Chicken Boo? Only time will tell.
