On April 1st, 2013, Toei announced that the Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger team would be reuniting for a tenth anniversary movie. The movie, titled “Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger: Ten Years After” will hit on August 9th as a direct-to-video release. This movie will be the first time since Hurricaneger that we will see Yujiro Shirakawa, who played Ikkou Kasumi/Kabuto Raiger, Nobuo Kyo, who played Isshu Kasumi/Kuwaga Raiger, Azusa Yamamoto, who played Furabijou, and Mio Fukumizu, who played Wendinu, as well as the first time that Shun Shioya(Yosuke Shiina/HurricaneRed), Nao Nagasawa(Nanami Nono/HurricaneBlue) and Kohei Yamamoto(Kouta Bitou/HurricaneYellow) have reunited since Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger. There is also a child in the movie, but there are no confirmations on who he is or what his role might be. The film will be available in a collector’s pack for 10,290 yen, or you can buy the DVD and Blu-Ray individually for 4725 yen and 5775 yen respectively. The movie is directed by Katsuya Watanabe, and is scripted from Hurricaneger head writer Junichi Miyashita.
