On the first day of February 2016, a new page appeared in the shadows of the Shout! Factory website. On this page, the Ninja Sentai Kakuranger 10-disc set is available for order.

Shout! Factory’s description of Kakuranger is as follows:

Four hundred years ago, there was an epic battle between the great ninjas and the Youkai, mythical monsters who can summon lightning and grow into giants. The ninjas defeated the Youkai and sealed the Youkai Commander Nuarihyon and his Youkai energies in a cave protected by the “Seal Door.” In the present, one of the few remaining Youkai tricks Sasuke and Saizou, descendants of the ancient ninjas, into freeing the Youkai trapped behind the “Seal Door.” Now, it is up to Sasuke, Saizou and three other descendants of the great ninjas to come together and become the Kakurangers in order to defeat the Youkai and save the planet!

Kakuranger is the third Super Sentai installment to see a stateside release from Shout!, after Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger and Gosei Sentai Dairanger. The 53 episode series is set to be released on May 17, 2016 with a list price of $59.97. It is currently available from shoutfactory.com for $53.97 and ships two weeks early if ordered from the site itself.
