Johnny Yong Bosch is a prolific voice actor and musician, but fans of the Power Rangers franchise probably know him best as Adam Park, one of the longest-serving Rangers who has donned both black and green suits.

He first appeared in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as the Black Ranger when Walter Jones’ Zack Taylor left the team, and continued to Power Rangers Zeo as the Zeo Ranger IV and Power Rangers Turbo as the Green Turbo Ranger, in addition to two film appearances related to the show.

He left the show during Power Rangers Turbo, but briefly morphed back into action during Power Rangers in Space, returning to his original power set as the Black Mighty Morphin Power Ranger. He again returned for the 15th anniversary episode “Once a Ranger” during Power Rangers Operation Overdrive.

Unfortunately, Adam will not be returning for the franchise’s 20th anniversary. According to Johnny Yong Bosch’s Facebook page, he did not receive an official invitation to return for Power Rangers Megaforce or Power Rangers Super Megaforce.

Very few actors were invited back to celebrate this milestone anniversary for

the franchise, and while it is unfortunate that Yong Bosch was not asked to return, several actors will return, and there is promise yet for 2013 and 2014.
