A toy catalog has released the first images of the 38th Super Sentai: Ressha Sentai Tokkyuger! This confirms a trademark registered in September 2013 for the same name. The show itself is set to premiere in February 2014.

The members are Tokkyu 1 through 5, and the show will be targeted towards both children and train enthusiasts alike. Their main mecha is Tokkyu-Oh, following in the footsteps of other train-themed mecha such as GrandLiner, Travelion, and Kyouretsu-Oh.

The suit designs accentuate the train motif, being primarily a singular solid color, with a train route on the chest and the helmet resembling the front car of a train with a rail across the visor. Tokkyu-Oh appears to be five trains running concurrently.

The changer looks to be once again wrist-mounted, and will make use of electronic tickets, similar to Kamen Rider Den-O. We also see the return of yellow as both a member of the team and a female ranger.
