This is a Toy Commercial

The 111th American International Toy Fair is currently exhibiting in New York, New York, with show dates running from February 16 to February 19, 2014. This trade show is not generally open to the public; Toy Fair is an exhibition by trade professionals for trade professionals.

Given that toys are undoubtedly a massive driving force behind the Power Rangers franchise, it should come as no surprise that Bandai of America and Bluefin Tamashii Nations are both exhibiting some upcoming merchandise at Booth 419, Booth 4814, respectively, with MegaBloks exhibiting at a booth of their own.

Tamashii Nations’ booth exhibited the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers Figuarts and the Dino Megazord Super Robot Chogokin figure. Some of these figures are already available in American markets, with others set to release later this year.

MegaBloks showed off the sets for the “MechaZords” and their figures for individual Rangers.

Several toys compatible with the Zord-Builder system were shown at Bandai of America’s booth, including an old friend: Titanus. The Legacy Titanus figure will release later this year with an MSRP of $199.99. It will be able to be used to form the Ultrazord in concert with the Legacy Dino Megazord and Legacy Dragonzord, and will be able to combine with Zord-Builder toys from the Power Rangers (Super) Samurai and Power Rangers (Super) Megaforce lines.

Not to be confused with every other sauropod carrierzord.

The Super Megaforce mecha also receive their own installments in the Zord-Builder line.

Bandai also confirmed details regarding the Ranger Key line, compatible with the DX Legendary Morpher, the Silver Morpher, and the associated accessories. There will be 60 keys total, which will not be sold in blind packs; rather they will be sold packaged with other toys are as three-packs.

Bandai of America is also running contests emphasizing these Ranger Keys later this year, the first commencing in March.

Bandai made a show of presenting their merchandise for the Silver Ranger.

Note: the lack of female keys has led to doubling of keys of other colors.

Lastly, Bandai was running commercials for this year’s Power Rangers line at their booth. Interestingly, scenes from these commercials seem to have been subtitled in such a way that the text is irremovable.
