There was a lot of news coming out of San Diego Comic-Con, and it’s taken until just now for me to collect it all! Big stories are as follows:
White Ranger Toys

A premium Saba and ZordBuilder-compatible Tigerzord were shown off, in addition to a movie-style White Ranger Morpher. Also in the case was the previously-announced
Legacy Titanus and a new unique key set for Power Morphicon: Titanium Ranger and Wolf Ranger.

Amazon recently announced another giveaway regarding Power Rangers suits, akin to last year’s giveaway with Mystic Force Pink and SPD Red. This year’s giveaway suits (Overdrive Yellow and Jungle Fury Blue) were at SDCC at the Bandai booth.

Prototype toys for the upcoming Power Rangers Dino Charge line were shown off at SDCC: the Deluxe Megazord, Deluxe morpher, and core five Dino Chargers were exhibited at the Bandai booth. Notably, the Pink Ranger’s Triceratops-themed Zord was purple, rather than pink. The Pink Dino Charger retained its color.

The Dino Chargers are significantly smaller than the Zyudenchi, and lack numbers. Instead of saying the name of the zord on the reverse, the Dino Charger reads the name of the corresponding dinosaur. Red says Tyrannosaurus Rex, Blue says Stegosaurus, Black says Parasaurolophus, Pink says Triceratops, and Green says Velociraptor.
This line is presently completely prototypes, and it is unknown which elements will continue to the final products, and which will be revised for a general release.
Ranger Keys
Several Ranger Keys lived on a wall at the Bandai booth. Notably, the following two that were absent from the Japanese line were visible:

Oddly, the Green Samurai Ranger (the better one) was miscolored.

Spider-Verse
スパイダーマン from 1978 is in Spider-Verse, as is a new Japanese Spider-Man called SP//dr. #SDCC

Toei’s 1978 Tokusatsu iteration of Spider-Man will be in a Marvel crossover event this year.
Zyuranger

— Shout! Factory (@ShoutFactory) July 26, 2014
Shout! Factory will be releasing Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger on DVD. They presently only have the license to publish Zyuranger, and it was Saban’s idea to pursue this idea.
