The upcoming installment of the Power Rangers franchise, Power Rangers Dino Charge, is set to have 22 22-minute episodes in its first season, and is a “boys [sic] action” show, according to WorldScreen.com. The site also posted a summary of the show itself:
A new team of Power Rangers must find ancient Energems and use their Dino Chargers to power an arsenal of dino-fueled weapons, zords and Megazords to save the world.
Power Rangers Dino Charge is set to debut in 2015 on Nickelodeon. Based on precedent, it can reasonably be assumed that 20 of the episodes will be part of the continuing narrative of the show, while two will be set aside to be the Christmas and Halloween specials. The Energems likely correspond to the Guardians’ Secret Stones, and the Dino Chargers likely correspond to the Zyudenchi, both from the 2013 Super Sentai Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger.
