On June 8, 2015, Saban Brands released plans for the 2016 season of Power Rangers: Power Rangers Dino Super Charge. This installment continues the story from Power Rangers Dino Charge and continues to borrow designs from the Super Sentai series Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger. Dino Super Charge will debut on Nickelodeon in early 2016.
For the first time in the history of the Power Rangers franchise, Dino Super Charge will feature a supercharged team of ten Power Rangers, accentuating the core values of friendship, teamwork, and responsibility. Saban Brands President Elie Dekel states “With the current season, Power Rangers Dino Charge, we’ve already seen an overwhelming response and it very quickly became a huge success, as fans were excited for the return of the popular dinosaur theme for the first time in more than 10 years. With Power Rangers Dino Super Charge, the new season will still feature the same amazing team of Power Rangers, but will be super-charged with history-making twists and turns and, of course, epic new villains, Zords and Megazords, making this one of the best seasons yet!”
Power Rangers Dino Charge currently airs on Saturdays on Nickelodeon in the 12 PM time slot (PT/ET). New episodes will return in August, and Power Rangers Dino Super Charge will take over the time slot early in 2016.
