Himitsu Sentai Goranger 1975-1977

When world peace is threatened by the emergence of an international secret society of evil called the Black Cross Army, the Japanese military, with the help of the United Nations, creates EAGLE, (the Earth Guard League), to combat the threat. The Black Cross Army, fearful of the threat against them, decides to launch a surprise attack against EAGLE and sends five of its most dangerous operatives to attack Japan’s various EAGLE branches. Across Japan, the Black Cross Army decimates each EAGLE branch, killing everyone except for five young recruits, who miraculously survive and vow vengeance. The recruits are each given a piece of a special interlocking key and are summoned to the snack shop “Gon”, (actually the secret entrance to EAGLE’s main command center), by EAGLE Commander Edogawa Gonpachi. There, they are given special form-fitting electronic battlesuits which empower the wearers with superhuman strength & speed and are recruited by Edogawa to become the Secret Squadron, known as “Goranger”, the world’s best chance against the forces of the Black Cross Army. Armed with the battlesuits and other special weapons created by EAGLE scientists, the five exact their revenge upon the Black Cross Army operatives who killed their comrades and dedicate themselves to stopping the remaining forces of the Black Cross Army and its sinister leader, Black Cross Führer.

Notes on Subs: Dead Fish Fansubs did select episodes of Goranger, as the translator was infamous for only doing episodes he found interesting. Sadly, due to Megaupload imploding, the majority of their links no longer work, but you can probably find their stuff by Google search. Bad Apple Fansubs picked up the series in May 2014, but disbanded a few weeks after. Currently, Rampage Subs are handling the show.

J.A.K.Q. Dengeki-tai 1977

Iron Claw is the “Crime Czar” of a global criminal empire known simply as “Crime”. With a network of wealthy and influential sympathizers and employing an army of faceless, leather-masked thugs (Crimers) and cyborg/robot assassins, Crime seeks to become the most powerful mafia organization in the world. To combat this threat, INTERPOL forms ISSIS, (the International Science Special-Investigation Squad), based in New York. ISSIS organizes its forces around the world to battle Crime, including Tokyo, Japan. Tokyo’s ISSIS branch commander, Kujirai Daisuke, proposes a radical experiment to aid his forces in Japan. Taking the codename “Joker”, he recruits four young test subjects to undergo his cyborg enhancement project – multitalented athlete and Olympic Gold medalist Sakurai Gorou, disgraced boxing champion Higashi Ryuu, critically injured policewoman Karen Mizuki and clinically dead and cryogenically sustained Oceanographer Daichi Bunta. Surgically altered and given various energy manipulation powers and bionic enhancements, the four youths begin their mission to destroy Crime as the crime-busting quartet code-named JAKQ Dengekitai. Later on, Joker leaves and Banba Soukichi, a master of disguise and a cyborg, becomes their new boss, as Big One.

Battle Fever J 1979-1980

General Kurama assembles four young agents who had been dispatched around the world for training. They are joined by FBI investigator Diane Martin, whose father was murdered by Egos. The five don powered suits to become the Battle Fever team. The Battle Fever team’s trump card is the Battle Fever Robo. Egos tries to stop the construction of the Robot, but the monsters they send to perform this task are defeated one by one by the Fever team. Egos then unleashes the “younger brother” of the Buffalo Monster, a giant robot replica of its “older brother”. The Robot, fortunately, is finished in time. Aboard it, the Fever team defeats the Buffalo Monster and its successors. The Fever team never stops, even when it lost two of its members (the original Miss America and Battle Cossack). With new members, the team defeats Hedder, now the Hedder Monster, and breaks into Egos’ headquarters, where they are fed into the Egos Monster Making Machine so that they may be used as material for a Battle Fever Monster. The team destroys the machine and slays the mysterious deity Satan Egos himself with the Lightning Sword Rocketter sword-throwing move.

Notes on Subs: Although the video quality is a bit terrible, the subs done by JP Productions are legally done subtitles and are available online. Super Hero Time began the project, but due to them disbanding, the project has now been dropped. A new group has shown up (Mega Beast Empire) to do the show.

Denshi Sentai Denziman 1980-1981

3000 years ago, the Vader Clan devastated Denzi Star. Denziland, an island from Denzi Star, landed on Earth. In modern times, the computer of Denziland awoke the Denzidog IC when it detected the Vader Clan approaching Earth. IC found five young people (who may or may not be descendants of the Denzi people) to become the Denzimen in order to defend Earth, the Vader Clan’s next target. The Denzimen begin a long record of success with the defeat of Vader Monster number 00, Flying Squirreler. As the battle escalates, they realize that they themselves may be descendants of the Denzi people. If so, they are not alone; other descendants do exist, scattered around the Earth. Queen Hedrian, struggling in her attempts to make the world a living nightmare, receives an offer of assistance from the space wanderer Omnipotent Demon King. She accepts it, not realizing that ODK’s real goal is the conquest of Earth for himself. He captures the Vader Castle, and torments the Denzimen with his Omnipotent Monse. Hedrer goes into battle himself giant-sized, only to die. The Denzimen find themselves helpless against ODK and his monster until IC sacrifices himself to become a circuit for the DaiDenzin. ODK and his monster are defeated. Hedrian escapes to the North Pole, where she sleeps, encased in ice, seemingly defeated (until Sun Vulcan) The last scene shows The Denjiman resuming their civilian lives made a sports camp in honor of IC.

Taiyo Sentai Sun Vulcan 1981-1982

The threat of the Machine Empire Black Magma causes the United Nations to establish the Taiyo Sentai at a summit. From the UN’s Guardians of World Peace’s (GWP) air force, navy, and rangers, Commander Arashiyama assembles three specialists to become Sun Vulcan. Learning of this, Black Magma attacks the GWP’s base, but Sun Vulcan debuts in time to save it. Hell Saturn prays to the Black Solar God and is rewarded with a revived Queen Hedrian, now a cyborg with a mechanical heart and a metallic afro. But plot after plot of Black Magma, even with Hedrian’s aid, fails. Following the death of 01, Amazon Killer, a Vader, arrives from space, destroying the Sun Vulcan Base. A new Vulcan Base is built. The original Vul Eagle, Ryuusuke Oowashi, is replaced by a friend and master of the sword, Takayuki Hiba (who first appeared on episode 21). The team defends the psychic descendant of the Denzi, the nun Himiko, from Black Magma. Shortly after this, Lightning Galaxer shows up. Sun Vulcan devises the New Vulcan Ball, but their attacks are no use against Lightning Galaxer until he becomes the gigantic Lightning Monger. Finally, the trio and their commander go to the North Pole to rescue Arashiyama Misa, and succeed not only in doing so (despite a fake Misa to confuse them), but also in defeating the Omnipotent God, the true leader of Black Magma, by feigning surrender and striking when it lowers its guard.

Dai Sentai Goggle-V 1982-1983

The Dark Science Empire Desdark launches its scheme for world conquest from their Destopia Castle in Germany. Dr. Hideki Hongo, founder of the Future Science Laboratory, is saved from one of their attacks by world class explorer Ken’ichi Akama. Using his Computer Boys & Girls, Hongo recruits five people, including Akama, to form the Dai Sentai Goggle-V (Goggle 5), the only force capable of stopping Desdark.

Kagaku Sentai Dynaman 1983-1984

The Evilution Empire rises from the depths of the Earth to conquer the world. To stop them, Dr. Kyutaro Yumeno assembles five inventors to his laboratory, Yumeno Invention Laboratory and gives them the power to become Dynamen. Each member has their own goal, but as the Kagaku Sentai Dynaman, they are united to stop the Evilution Empire in their tracks.

Choudenshi Bioman 1984-1985

The once prosperous Planet Bio is destroyed after a world war erupted over the use of a scientific discovery called “Bio Particles”. The Planet Bio Peacekeeping Alliance, which sought to use Bio Particles for peaceful purposes, sends the giant robot Bio Robo and an assistant robot named Peebo in order to prevent the same tragedy from happening on Earth. Bio Robo arrives on 15th century Japan, where it showers Bio Particles on five young individuals. Five centuries later, the descendants of these individuals, infused with Bio Particles, are chosen by Peebo and Bio Robo to become the Bioman team in order to protect the Earth from the Neo Gear Empire, an organization led by the mad scientist Doctor Man.

Dengeki Sentai Changeman 1985-1986

After conquering hundreds of planets, the Great Star League Gozma sets its sights onto Earth. To defend the world in such a great crisis, the Japanese military forms a special branch known as the Earth Defense Force, composed of elite members from all areas of the Japanese military. Under the supervision of Commander Ibuki, the numerous gathered soldiers of the Earth Defense Force begin a harsh training. As their first action, the Gozma decide to eliminate those who pose the greatest risk of interfering with their invasion — the military. After a particularly brutal day of training, the Earth Defense Force recruits are fed up with Ibuki’s cruel ways and abandon the training session. Soon afterwards they’re met with an attack by numerous Gozma troops. Five surviving officers gather together, beaten and exhausted, but refusing to step down from this threat. Just then, the Earth shakes and it empowers the five with the Earth Force, enabling them to possess the power of mythological beasts. With the mystical power of the Earth Force and the technology of the military, the Changeman begin their war against Gozma.

Notes on Subs: Unfortunately, Dead Fish did not meet their goal of finishing Changeman before they disbanded. Weirdly though, they just released a new episode well after the fact (as of 8/21/2012). Super Hero Time was going to fix up Dead Fish’s scripts and do the episodes that weren’t done, but they disbanded before the project started. Hikari-Senshi and G.U.I.S have both expressed interest in finishing it, but G.U.I.S. has finally started working on it… though the status on that is also unclear.

Choushinsei Flashman 1986-1987

Twenty years ago, five children were kidnapped by the an alien group known as the Alien Hunters, for the sake of the Reconstructive Experiment Empire Mess – who wanted samples of humans from Earth to experiment on. They were rescued by the Flash alien race, which took each one to a different planet of the Flash solar system for training. Each of them was trained separately from the others in a range of superpower abilities that will allow them to fight Mess. When they finally return to Earth in 1986, the present day, to combat Mess, who is now trying to invade it, they use the opportunity to search for their birth parents. They later learn that their time on earth will be cut short. Their birth planet’s atmosphere has become deadly to them and after a year, they will die from what is known as the Anti-Flash Phenomenon.

Hikari Sentai Maskman 1987-1988

Commander Sugata is a scientist and sage who excels in mental reinforcements and is a master of every martial art. He discovered the existence of the Underground Empire Tube, a once peaceful kingdom that has turned into a malignant force under the mysterious Zeba, who desires to conquer the surface. In order to stand against them and thwart their plans, Sugata recruits five young people to become the Maskmen. Each becomes specialized in a style of martial arts, and Sugata teaches them the ways of the mystical “Aura Power” energy. A year after Sugata recruits and trains the Maskmen, the Underground Empire Tube is ready to strike. Princess Ial of the deposed Igam Royal Family, sent to spy above ground as Mio, falls in love with Takeru, and wishes for those underground and above ground to coexist. She is kidnapped and imprisoned in ice for her betrayal. As Takeru and the Maskmen battle Tube, they learn about Ial and Igam’s relationship, and a terrible dark secret about Zeba, the Tube leader.

Chouju Sentai Liveman 1988-1989

Academia Island is an elite school that various genius students from across the globe attend. Among them are Yusuke Amamiya, Joh Ohara, Megumi Misaki, who with Takuji Yano, and Mari Aikawa sought to create a suit strong enough for space exploration. However, three of their classmates and dear friends, Kenji Tsukigata, Rui Senda, and Goh Omura, felt their talents are being wasted and leave to join an evil organization called Volt where offers them to raise their full scientific potential. As a result, when Yusuke and company saw them leaving, Kenji draws a gun on the three with Takuji and Mari taking the fatal blow. Soon after, one of the professors at the school, Professor Hoshi, pitches in to help Yusuke and his friends complete the suits so they can serve to prepare against Volt. Two years later, with that Kenji, Rui, and Gou now known as Doctors Kemp, Mazenda, and Obular, Volt begins its attack by devastating Academia Island. As a result, Yusuke, Joh, and Megumi take up the suits they created and become the Livemen to battle against their former classmates and Volt. Though they managed to get Goh to leave Volt, the organization recruits new members in Doctor Ashura and the aliens Guildos and Butchy. Soon after, the Livemen are joined by Tetsuya and Jun-ichi, the respective younger brothers of Takuji and Mari, while learning that there is a darker agenda behind Volt that only its leader Bias knows.

Kousoku Sentai Turboranger 1989-1990

Twenty thousand years ago, the Fairy race assisted humans in a battle against the Bōma Tribes and sealed them away. Due to modern day pollution and man’s destruction of nature, the power of Fairy magic has weakened, allowing the seal to be broken and the Tribes escape. With the help of Doctor Dazai, Seelon, the last of the fairies, summoned five high school seniors. As children, they were showered with the “flames of spirit” of the fallen fairies in a forest, and can now hear Seelon’s voice. Donning powered suits, the product of a collaboration between Seelon’s magic and Doctor Dazai’s science, the five become the Turborangers, juggling days of fighting with their regular school lives, in order to defeat the Bōma Tribes.

Chikyuu Sentai Fiveman 1990-1991

Twenty years ago, Doctor Hoshikawa was researching how to transform the planet Sedon into a green, lush world, testing it by attempting to grow flowers. On the day the first flower bloomed, the Zone Empire launched an assault on the planet, he and his wife were separated from their five children. Arthur G6 took the five children back to Earth and raised them. In the present day, the five are now teachers in the same school. The Zone Empire now prepares to invade Earth as its thousandth target and as they begin the attack, three vehicles appear and counter the offensive, five warriors descend from the vehicles and confront Zone. The Hoshikawa siblings have been developing the Fiveman technology and training hard upon the possibility of Zone invading Earth. Now the five siblings are ready to battle with the familiar foes as Fiveman.

Notes on Subs: Elite-Justice has kind of went M.I.A. There is apparently a group on Facebook doing the series, but the translations have been found to be error-prone and editing is desperately needed. Thankfully, G.U.I.S. has picked up the translator from Elite Justice, so the series is alive again… or so it would seem. G.U.I.S. hasn’t stated the status of this project either.

Chojin Sentai Jetman 1991-1992

This series takes place in 199X on the Earth Ship, the command center of an international defence agency called Sky Force, the guardians of peace on Earth. In the ship, scientists have developed “Birdonic Waves”, a newly developed technology which gives the subject superhuman abilities. Experiments called “J-Project” were successful. Aya Odagiri, the director of the project, chooses five elite Sky Force officials from Earth to use this technology. Ryū Tendō, one of the Sky Force officers, is successfully exposed to the Birdonic Waves, making him the first Jetman, the Red Hawk. However, the Earth Ship is suddenly attacked by Vyram, an evil outer-dimensional organization bent on inter-dimensional domination. They successfully destroy the ship, apparently killing Ryū’s lover and fellow candidate member Rie. In the chaos, the remaining Birdonic Waves for the other four officials become scattered on Earth, hitting four civilians. Odagiri and Tendō successfully escape and begin searching on Earth for the four remaining Jetman, training them to aid them in stopping Vyram’s plans of conquering their dimension.

Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger 1992-1993

Five young warriors from an ancient civilization of Dinosaur-evolved Humans are awakened during the present day after 170 million years of suspended animation when their sworn enemy, Bandora the Witch, is inadvertently released from her magical container on Planet Nemesis by two astronauts. The five warriors, the Zyurangers, must summon the power of mechanical-looking deities known as Guardian Beasts, each modeled after a different prehistoric beast, in order to protect mankind from Bandora’s evil forces. A sixth warrior, Burai the Dragon Ranger, later becomes involved with the conflict between the Zyurangers and Bandora’s forces.

Gosei Sentai Dairanger 1993-1994

Eight thousand years ago, the Daos civilization flourished in Southern China. The civilization consisted of three tribes: the Dai, the Shura (the ancestors of today’s humanity), and the Gorma (the military tribe); they lived harmoniously. However, one day, the Gorma Tribe decided to take over the empire and the world. Thus began the war between the Gorma and Dai tribes. The battle continued for 5,000 years, led by the Gorma Triumvirate. The Mythical QI Beasts appeared to oppose the Gorma, whose magical powers had increased, enabling them to turn themselves into monsters. Five Dai warriors’ Qi powers had increased to the point where they could control the Mythical Qi Beasts. The war ended with the disappearance of both the Dai and Gorma tribes. In the present day, the Gorma Tribe, one of the Daos’ two missing branches, arose to take over the world. To counter them, Master Kaku assembled a team of five youths with high levels of Qi, who became the Dairangers of the present time.

Ninja Sentai Kakuranger 1994-1995

Four hundred years ago, the ninja and the Youkai had a great war. The legendary Sarutobi Sasuke and other four ninja sealed the Youkai Commander Nurarihyon and all his Youkai’s energies away in a cave protected by the “Seal Door”. In the present, the only surviving Youkai, Kappa, tricks Sarutobi Sasuke and Kirigakure Saizo’s descendants, Saizou and Sasuke, into releasing the Youkai by opening the “Seal Door”. Now these two, joined by three other descendants of great ninja, become the Kakuranger to fight the Youkai with the aid of the Sanshinshou.

Chouriki Sentai Ohranger 1995-1996

Six hundred million years ago, Pangaea created a robot named Bacchushund, who turned on his creators. The King Ranger defeated Bacchushund and banished him from Earth. In the year 1994, Bacchushund returned to Earth as the ruler of the Baranoia Empire, with the intention of wiping out all human life and bring about machine rule. Chief Counsellor Miura revived super energies that had been born of the lost civilization of Pangaea. With the assembling of pieces of a stone plate uncovered three years previously, the secrets of “Super Power” were revealed. Miura built a pyramid to generate Tetrahedron power in order to allow five UAOH officers to transform into the Ohrangers.

Five workers from the Pegasus Auto Garage discover Dappu, an alien from planet Hazard. He empowers the five with the “Kurumagic” power of the five legendary car constellations, transforming them into Carrangers. As Carrangers, the five battle an alien reckless driver gang and prevent them from destroying Earth.

Denji Sentai Megaranger 1997-1998

Kenta Date, a high-school student, is the ultimate champion of an arcade video game called “Megaranger”. He belongs to the Cybernetics club, a group of like minded friends from his school. Koichiro Endo, Shun Namiki, Chiasato Jogaseski, and Miku Imamura are also members of Cybernetics. The International Network of Excel-Science and Technology (INET), the games creators, invite Kenta and the Cybernetics club members to tour the INET laboratories. Following a short tour of the INET HQ buildings, the company is attacked by the Neijirejia, an evil force led by Dr. Hinelar on a mission to conquer the current reality. Dr. Kubota, INET’s chief scientist, reveals that Megaranger was more than only a simple video game but actually a combat simulator to identify potential recruits for a super fighting team to combat the Neijirejia. While the INET headquarters (HQ) is destroyed by the Neijirejia warrior Yugande, Dr. Kubota gives Kenta and his friends devices known as ‘Digitizers’. By entering the key-code “3-3-5” and shouting “Install, Megaranger!”, Date, Endo, Namiki, Jogasaki and Imamura transform into the Megarangers to fight the Nejirejia.

Seiju Sentai Gingaman 1998-1999

Three thousand years ago, the Space Pirates Barban invaded Earth. The Starbeasts and the first Gingaman, warriors of the Ginga Forest, fought them with the mystical power called Earth and eventually were able to imprison them. The Ginga people later cloaked their forest within marked boundaries and passed on the duty of the Ginga warriors through generations. Hyuuga, Hayate, Gouki, Hikaru and Saya are chosen as the 133rd warriors of the Star Beast Swords. Ryouma is very happy that his elder brother Hyuuga succeeds to the honorable title. When Elder Ohghi holds the succession ceremony of Star Beast Swords, an earthquake breaks the seal of Barban. Ohghi orders the 133rd warriors to get the Ginga Braces hidden in Roaring Mountain. However, the Barban attacks them to prevent the birth of the new Gingamen. During the battle, Hyuuga got swallowed into a crack in the ground which Captain Zahab of the Barban created. Enraged, Ryouma activates his hidden Earth power and awaken the Ginga Braces. The Gingaman fights together with the Starbeasts against the Barban, who desire to revive the Demon Beast, Daitanix, on whose ‘corpse’ they built their castle.

Grandiene has been waiting for the day of resurrection, the day when the planets are in the alignment of the Grand Cross. Her children descend to the Earth to make it a realm of darkness for her. Ten years prior, Doctor Tatsumi of the Tatsumi Disaster Prevention Institute predicted this event, but nobody believed him. He left his family so he could secretly develop and construct the Rescue System. Now in 1999, Doctor Tatsumi appears again to give the means to save the world to his children as the GoGoFive team.

Mirai Sentai Timeranger 2000-2001

In the 30th century, time travel becomes illegal after a time paradox crisis. The Time Protection Department is established to watch for and stop time crimes. Four new enlistee cadets of the TPD are tricked by Don Dolnero and his gang into letting them time-travel to the year 2000 to commit various crimes. To protect history, the four cadets pursue them. There they encounter a severe problem: the Timeranger program requires five members for the first operation. They thus force a present-day martial artist, Tatsuya Asami, to join them, allowing them to become the Timerangers. Afterwards Tatsuya rents a building for them to live in and they start a small odd jobs business called Tomorrow Research to financially support themselves.

Today, the Orgs have begun to revive, and five warriors have been chosen by the Power Animals. They must abandon their current lives and give up their names to become the new generation of Gaorangers to protect the life of earth. The current five warriors are called by their color.

Ninpu Sentai Hurricanger 2002-2003

In the Hayate Way’s Ninja Academy, three pupils are not exactly fitting in. But because their sensei believes they have potential he regularly spends the morning personally and rigorously training them. While the other students are having their graduation ceremony a group of evil space ninjas known as the Jakanja infiltrate the school killing most of the students. The school’s sensei, Mugensai, turns himself into a hamster to evade his pursuers. The trio is then taken to a secret base to become the legendary Hurricanegers to fight Jakanja. Later in the series they have to fight with the two ninja brothers of the Ikazuchi Way’s Ninja Academy due to their respective schools’ rivalries. With the aid of the mysterious Shurikenger the two ninja groups set their rivalry aside and join forces to stop Jakanja.

Bakuryu Sentai Abaranger 2003-2004

Scientists believe that 65,000,000 years ago, a meteorite’s crash on Earth killed off the dinosaurs, but in truth, it split Earth into two parallel universes: Dino Earth, an Earth where dinosaurs were still the superior species, and our Earth, referred to as Another Earth by the residents of Dino Earth. Overtime, the Dino People and Dynasaur races came into being on Dino Earth but were at war with the Evoliens, entities that emerged from the meteor. The two Earths are separate until Asuka, a Dragonoid from Dino Earth, arrives on Earth via a transdimensional portal. However, he is followed by the Evoliens in their Anamolicarus spaceship and the three Dynasaur under their control. As the Dynasaur Tyrannosaurus, Ptreranodon, and Triceratops attack Tokyo, a call is sent out to three destined ones who possess Dino Guts to gain the powers to tame the three beasts. Together with their Dynasaur partners, the three become Abarangers to protect their dimension from the Evoliens. In time another Abaranger appears, but he takes the name “Abare Killer” and fights the others while the Evoliens carry out their ultimate goal: the resurrection of their god.

The story begins when Banban Akaza arrives on Earth to the city of Megalopolis. He is transferred to the S.P.D. (Special Police Dekaranger) Earth branch by his commander. By that time, Agent Abrella, an Alienizer arms dealer, turns his destructive attention to Earth, helping the criminals there. It’s up to the Dekarangers to stop them and bring them to justice. The SPD of Earth are stationed in the Deka Base under the command of Doggy Cruger.

Juken Sentai Gekiranger 2007-2008

A fallen student from the school of Wild Fist named Leo turn to the Predatory Fist style, rebuilding the Predatory Hall and brings the long dead Predatory Fist users back to life as Rinshi to amass Bestial Qi, Wild Qi’s polar opposite, in order to resurrect the 3 Overlords so that through them, he could become stronger. To fight the Predatory Hall, Xia Fu trained two youths: Ran Uzaki and Retsu Fukami. Along with Jan Kando, a feral boy raised by PANDAS (not tigers) in the woods near the Beast Origin Village, the Gekiranger team is born.

Engine Sentai Go-Onger 2008-2009

Machine World is one of the 11 Braneworlds other than our own, which is referred as the Human World and it is home to giant vehicular beings called Engines who wage a war against the Gaiark who desire to pollute their world. Losing, Gaiark’s three Pollution Ministers’ escape leaves them on Earth, seeing the Human World as an easier location to create their ideal paradise. The six Engines manage to pursue them, selecting five humans to become their partners, the Go-ongers. The team are joined by Go-on Wings and their Wing Engines, as well as the Ancient Engines, as they all together battle the Gaiark as well as other evil villains from other Braneworlds.

For eighteen generations, samurai of the Shiba House have suppressed the evil intentions of the Gedoushu, malevolent spirits that enter the world of the living from gaps between buildings and other structures. However, as they are joined by his childhood friend Genta, the vassals slowly learn that there’s a reason for Takeru’s behavior that sets him apart from his predecessors.

Tensou Sentai Goseiger 2010-2011

Unknown to the people of Earth, there is a branch of humanity called the “Gosei Angels” whose mission is to protect the Earth. When the Earth is targeted by an evil alien invasion force called Warstar, they destroy the Heaven’s Tower, the bridge between the Earth and the Gosei World, home of the Gosei Angels, to keep them from interfering. However, five apprentice Gosei Angels are on Earth at the time and, while finding a way to return back home, they become the Goseigers to stop Warstar. But soon after, the monstrous Cryptobeasts emerge from their slumber and the Goseigers receive aid from a special being called Gosei Knight who once fought against the Cryptobeasts in the past. But even after they defeat the Cryptobeasts, the evil robotic MatGolintis Empire rises to take over the Earth with the data acquired from the last two groups. Once they are defeated, the Goseigers face their greatest enemy in the one who has been manipulating the other groups from the very beginning: a rogue Gosei Angel who took their mission to protect the Earth to a dangerous extreme by planning to destroy all life and recreate the world in his image.

Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger 2011-2012

A group of young pirates come from space to Earth to obtain the “Greatest Treasure in the Universe”, which can only be acquired after obtaining the “Greater Powers” of the different 34 Super Sentai Teams. However, they end up facing the Space Empire Zangyack, whose earlier invasion forces were wiped out by the 34 Sentai groups long ago before a new invasion force is established under Commander Warz Gill, the emperor’s son. As a result, due to their history with the empire, the space pirates use the powers of the older teams and attempt to master their powers to fight the Zangyack forces as the Gokaigers.

Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters 2012-2013

Thirteen years ago in the New Common Era calendar, the computer controlling the newly discovered energy source called Enetron was infected by a virus that caused it to create the evil energy being known as Messiah who wishes to take over mankind and create a world made for machines. Though sent into subspace, Messiah’s actions established the formation of the Energy Management Center’s Special Ops Unit from three children who were caught in the crossfire, the Go-Busters. In the year 2012 NC, the present day, Messiah’s underlings, called Vagras, attempt further incursions to gather enough Enetron to bring their master back. However, training for this day, the Go-Busters and their Buddyroids are deployed to combat Vagras’ Metaroids and Megazords to protect the city’s Enetron from them.

Long ago in the time of dinosaurs, the Deboss Army invades Earth to the point of the extinction of the dinosaurs but they were defeated by Wise God Torin and the Zyudenryu during the first invasion. Shuriken Sentai Ninninger 2015-Present

Centuries ago, the ruthless feudal warlord Gengetsu Kibaoni was slain by the Igasaki Ninja clan, before discarding his humanity to become a Yokai.
